Phillip Rei joined Rothman Law in September 2025. His practice is focused on commercial leasing, where he represents landlords, tenants, investors and developers in structuring and negotiating sophisticated lease transactions across diverse asset types—from industrial facilities and outdoor-storage yards to shopping centers, mixed-use properties and ground-up project developments. In addition to his leasing focus, Phillip advises clients on acquisitions and dispositions of real property, development-rights and consent-rights matters, and the interpretation and application of recorded and contractual covenants. Phillip’s precision and practical judgment enable him to navigate complex transactions efficiently, maintaining deal momentum while safeguarding his clients’ interests.

Prior to joining Rothman Law, Phillip was an associate at a commercial real estate firm located in Washington, DC. Phillip graduated from the George Washington University Law School in 2022 and is admitted as an attorney in the District of Columbia.
