Meir Friedman joined Rothman Law PLLC in September 2020 and serves as Counsel, where he oversees many of the firm’s most complex real estate transactions. Meir is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in development transactions and commercial leasing matters, and his practice spans a wide range of real estate deals, including acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, and equity and debt financings.

He advises clients on transactions involving a variety of asset types, including office buildings, project developments, industrial properties, outdoor storage facilities, shopping centers, and multifamily apartment buildings. Meir is regularly involved in structuring and negotiating sophisticated joint venture agreements, construction financing arrangements, and industrial leases with large credit tenants.

Known for his meticulous attention to detail and practical, client-focused approach, Meir provides strategic insights that help mitigate risk and maximize opportunity at every stage of a deal.

Prior to joining Rothman Law, Meir practiced at a New York–based real estate firm, where he split his time between national commercial real estate transactions and real estate litigation.

Meir graduated cum laude from Brooklyn Law School in 2018 and is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the State of New Jersey, and in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
