David joined Rothman Law PLLC in June 2026 and serves as Counsel. David specializes in representing lenders in commercial real estate financing transactions, with significant experience advising financial institutions and other lenders in connection with acquisition, construction, bridge, and other real estate-secured loans. His broader commercial real estate practice also includes acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and joint ventures across the New York metropolitan area and throughout the country.

David’s practice is focused on representing banks, financial institutions, private lenders, and other capital providers in a broad range of commercial real estate financing transactions. He regularly negotiates and drafts loan documents in connection with mortgage, mezzanine, construction, acquisition, bridge, and other real estate-secured financings across a wide range of asset classes, including multifamily, retail, hospitality, mixed-use, office, condominium, cooperative, and industrial properties.

David is known for his direct, practical approach and his focus on structuring each transaction to carry out the client's business objectives. He was named to the Super Lawyers New York Metro Rising Stars list for real estate in 2024 and 2025.

Prior to joining Rothman Law, David practiced for nearly a decade at New Jersey-based law firms, most recently in the real estate department of a large full-service firm, where he represented owners, developers, investors, and lenders in transactions across the country.

David graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2017, where he served as a Staff Editor of the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal and a Student Editor of the New York Real Estate Reporter. He received his BA, magna cum laude, from Queens College, City University of New York. David is admitted to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey.
