Carter Martin joined Rothman Law PLLC in July 2024 and serves as a Senior Associate. Carter’s practice focuses on residential, commercial, and industrial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing across the five boroughs of New York City and throughout the country.

She advises clients through every stage of a transaction — from drafting and negotiating complex agreements to conducting extensive due diligence, title clearance, survey review, and closings. Carter regularly represents investors, high-net-worth individuals, corporations, trusts and estates, private equity funds, and other institutional clients in connection with condominium, cooperative, multi-family, mixed-use, and industrial property transactions. She has significant experience structuring and negotiating sale-leaseback transactions, providing clients with strategic guidance on both the acquisition and leasing components of these complex deals.

Carter has developed a reputation for her organized, detail-oriented approach and her ability to guide transactions efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on her clients’ goals.

Originally from the Atlanta area, Carter graduated from Georgia State University College of Law in 2019 and is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the State of Georgia.
